The harder point of this issue is that we all have our personal biases, racism or otherwise. The brain is wired in a way that biases and stereotypes lend themselves to our cognitive processes.
ReplyDeleteAgreed that racism is stupid, but we need to all be aware of our personal biases, whatever they may be, and be do what we can to account for them. Racism is an obvious one with more publicity than others, but there's a good chance that each of us is stupid in some other bias. I'm sure I am.
